We would like to take this opportunity to share with you our policy regarding the handling of your private financial information. This is obviously a topic near and dear to everyone, and we think you should know how we handle this sensitive area.
It is our firm’s policy to not disclose any information whatsoever about any of our clients to any other client, prospective client or any outside party. There are only three exceptions to this rule.
First, we must disclose any information required on any valid court-issued subpoena; second, we would disclose any information that you previously authorize us to release; and third, we utilize SalesForce.com as the provider of our contact management software. This software provider meets the ISO/IEC 27018:2019 privacy security standards as well as those established by the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. The information utilized by the software is owned by First Financial Consulting, and is available only to those employees who have valid login credentials.
The individuals within our firm who would have access to your information would include the officers of the corporation, your advisor and any administrative personnel working with your advisor or for an officer of the corporation.
In policing this policy, all employees sign an agreement acknowledging that they are aware of and will abide by this policy. The violation of this policy is grounds for immediate termination.
Cookies And Other Tracking Methods
First Financial Consulting follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Among the information that we collect and guard jealously is information regarding your financial situation, tax issues, portfolio balances and structure, risk management, business interests and family situation. We realize how personal this information is, and that in this day and age of electronic prying people are concerned about maintaining their privacy.
